The monitor stand is well built and easy to assemble. No tools required. The backend of the stand has a semi-circular cut off that allows the cable to go down while the stand remain flushed against the wall. The only issue i have is with the precut holes and spaces. This is a case of less is more. They should reduce the number of cuts to just 2 or 3. Maybe one for the pencil/pen, one for mouse and one extra one. The rest of the stand should have remained a smooth surface. Overall, this is a very good looking monitor stand and very sturdy as well.

This is a very useful little stand. It lifts my monitor by just enough to encourage me to improve my posture, has a number of places to secure things such as pens so they don't roll all over the desk, and provides convenient storage underneath. It is extremely simple to assemble: the side supports are located by dowels and held in place by magnets.I have two minor criticisms. The first is that the finish is a bit rough - the bamboo looks great but a second coat of varnish would have made the various recesses smoother and less of a dust-trap. The second is that the height is just not quite enough to allow even very small speakers to fit underneath (easily resolved by adding felt pads under the sides).But, overall, good value for money.

This works very well. I have it on my desk with my monitor on top as well as some pens and other office items. It looks very nice and was easy to figure out since there is very minimal assembly. Probably the only thing to consider is that it is not a very high boost up for your screen. I ended up also using some books under mine to get it a bit higher as I'm pretty tall. However, it gives enough of a lift that you could keep papers and other things under it, which keeps my desk looking neater!

This would have been a great solution if it were stable. It is not stable at all. The legs wobble--a lot. I am not putting my 27" iMac on top of this. I live in earthquake country, and if there was anything approaching a decent tremor, this could easily collapse/fall over. I briefly considered using screws to hold it together, but that seems like more work than I bargained for, considering I would have to drill pilot holes and countersink the screws. The instability is inherent in the design itself - this is not a defect, it is the way it is designed. In addition this ships in the product packaging with no outer shipping box, and the one I received was damaged: the box had been cut/torn resulting in significant scratches on the wood. I would not plan on putting anything heavy on top of this. Cannot recommend.

I bought another monitor riser that turned out to be too tall. it was nearly 5 1/2" and my 32" monitor was just too high for my comfort. I spent some time looking for a replacement, and this looked to be the best from a height point of view. The top is 3 1/2" tall, and brings my monitor to a much more comfortable height. My 15" laptop fits underneath with room to spare. My external disk drive fits perfectly in one of the notches, and my phone fits in one too (with a hole under for a charging cable). I included a 12 oz soda can for a size reference in the picture. Very happy with this, the build is very good, and the appearance matches my desktop nicely. The legs are a nice snug fit, and it seems very sturdy.

I finally purchased this after hemming and hawing over all of the different models I found on Amazon.com. This is sturdy, and goes together easily with the magnets. Nicely made, looks good. The slots work for me. My cup, my echo dot, my phone, etc. It's not too high/tall either. Better for my posture and neck.Works perfectly for my needs. I have a 15 inch laptop sitting underneath it. It's easy to pull the laptop out, cast it to the desktop display and slide it back underneath.I did have a problem. The first one arrived with some nicks and sharp edges along the front. Seller immediately replaced it. Can't beat that.

I only gave it four stars because when I tried to remove it from the box it immediately slipped out an one of the pegs broke. Plus on the right side the phone holder is kind of fraying a little. As bamboo does.

This monitor riser is a good height to make my iMac screen comfortable for viewing. It was easy to put together, though the legs don't line up perfectly (most people probably wouldn't notice or care, honestly). It keeps the small items I want to have on the desk organized and out of the way and I like the spots for holding my phone and the cutouts to allow charging cables to come up from under the riser.
