Well made. Great game

This is a very heavy set. Exactly what I was hoping for. This set looks as though it should last for years. It’s a good thing that we got home minutes after it was delivered. I can’t believe this item and two other items were left on a public sidewalk! I clearly stated that deliveries are to be placed on my front porch at my front door. If it had been on the sidewalk for any substantial amount of time, it would have disappeared. We have a lot of street traffic here. Who, in their right mind, thinks that is an acceptable place to leave valuables?!

Steel poles and shoes, as long as you use them correctly they will provide fun for hours.

The horseshoes and stakes are nice weight and quality. They were used during a beach vacation. Unfortunately, the storage/carry bag was lower quality and ripped within the first few uses. I will need to purchase a replacement bag, but they are almost as expensive as an entirely new set.*******After contacting the Franklin Sports Company regarding the problem with the carrying bag, they immediately offered to replace it. Amazing customer service from Franklin Sports!!!

Nice set

I purchased this set based on it being the second lowest priced on Amazon, with the lowest one not being available. I read through lots of the reviews, and some state that the horseshoes broke the first time they used, with attached pictures. I'd like to know how they broke these horseshoes as they are very sturdy and solid. Our family hosted an event with over 300 people attending, and the horseshoes were being thrown all day, and small children were really rough with their throws and slamming, and there were no problems or breakage. I recommend this set and would ignore those bad reviews showing broken shoes, I have to believe there is a lot more to their pictured damage...this is a good set, you'll enjoy them!

These are very well made. We love the red, white and blue. Sturdy. They'll last for years of fun play.

Just as advertised and works great

This was a fairly reasonably priced horseshoe set when I did some comparison shopping. The horse shoes are high-quality and feel like they would last for years. I wish the spikes were a little bit longer. It comes with a carrying case and instructions on how to build your horseshoe pits. I think the set is gift able. It would be nice to give to people who have an acreage, large backyard, or a cabin at the lake, very versatile and fun game for groups of people.

As per the other reviews. Paint does chip, which is expected when you toss a painted piece of steel at a bar. Shoes held up extremely well. My husband smashes cast iron shoes often, usually breaking a few a match. So we opted for the forged steel. 0 issues with the shoes breaking. If they hold up an entire season, I will call it a win for us! So far, very happy.
