TDE 7 inch Digital Photo Frame with Clock/Alarm/Speakers

Broke after one week

I have tried using the adjustments on the device, but have only found varying levels of bad images. The clock works fine and is easy to read from a distance.

I bought two from CVS at sale price of $19.95 each. I am trying one and so far it is fairly easy to program for the computer literate. Those unfamiliar might have a problem. The instruction manual is well written, but should include error messages. Right out of the box, it displayed photos from a 2GB SD chip produced by a Fuji camera. It would NOT play .AVI photos from another 2GB chip from the same camera. After loading it produces a message "skipped because of pre-scan error" This agrees with a previous review that said finding the right Video format is difficult (or maybe impossible). .AVI files are supposed to be able to play.The alarm works, though why the people who program these devices have them automatically shut off after 30 seconds I will never know. It appears to repeat once.I would rate it three stars

got the item in the mail very nice quality pictures but its hard to get it to work with videos the pictures and mp3 player work great but i have yet to find the right video format to play on it (reason for 4 stars) other then that the item is a great buy and a great buy for the price you cant beat it
