Love Diana

I had this Diana Ross & The Supremes 25th Anniversary Double LP back in the day. It was the first release that had a great booklet written by J Randy Taraborrelli (which the first half is reproduced here, and has some lovely photo's with Taraborrelli's light writing style) and although there have been all manner of Greatest Hits re-packages it is interesting that the track listing is focused on the charting history of each single leading off with the #1s and ending with all top 40 releases (which oddly aren't in sequence, unlike the 12 #1s achieved by the Ladies-Supreme). At the time it was the only real overview with annotation that was in release.You probably could do without Vol 1 as it covers much of the same ground as any number of compilations out there (The Gold collection comes to mind). However having owned the original set I couldn't have purchased one without the other.

Great group!!! Classy women who can sing. Great !!!! Beautiful clothes and they have no need to strip naked to get attention. Their great voices, intellect, and class are reflected in the songs selected on this great CD.

Very good quality sound. Both the Supremes and then Diana Ross are one of the most prolific singers in the Motown camp. I think its right up there with Sevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, and Marvin Gaye. This CD is the one to get. When combined with the others: 4 Tops, Temptations, Jackson 5, etc. It makes a nice play list for you old timers who enjoy "Old School".

I recieved this CD in no time at all after ordering it. Every song brought back so many great memories of the sixties when they were so popular. It was nice hearing them again. I did however find that the very last song on the CD skipped. I notified the company and 2 days later I had the new one in my mailbox.I hadn't even sent the bad one back to them yet!!!!! Now that's something that doesn't happen; EVER!!!But anyway it was great doing business with you... Thank you so much!!!!

It great to hear Diana Ross & the Supreme in Stereo. Hey there noting bad about Mono recording. This CD really shines. You can hear the different ending on some of the songs. The sound quality is the best i heard. Its worth the money you pay for. All in all get it. Diana Ross & the Supreme fans will love it. For the ones who don't know this group. This is the one to start with. Enjoy

こんなのが出てたんですね。シュプリームスは何枚も持ってるのでもう必要ないかと思っていましたが、ソニーの「Music Unlimited」で聴いて速攻で注文してしまいました。レビューを読むと新しくミックスダウンを施したことを批判している方がいますが、今後全てが置き換えられるというわけではないでしょうし、音質が改善されて、新鮮に聞こえるのは良いことではないでしょうか。新しいミックスでは、エンディングが多少長くなったり、フェイドアウトでなくなったりと言った程度で印象はそれほど変わりません。ミックスダウンできるマスターが残っているのなら、DSDで5.1chのサラウンドミックスを施しSACDでリリースして欲しいものです。彼女達はベスト盤やテンプテーションズとのジョイントアルバムとか、昔は4チャンネルレコード（ＣＤ−４）を出していたこともあるのですから。ダウンロード全盛の時代、ダウンロードでは不可能は商品を世に送るのも購買意欲をそそるかと思います。少なくとも私は購入します。曲目が掲載されていないので、購入のご参考に1.
