Ferplast Furet Ferret Cage, XL, 80 x 75 x 86.5 cm, Grey

Ich habe den Käfig als Urlaubskäfig für meine drei Ratten gekauft. Zuerst dachte ich, der Käfig wäre sehr wackelig und instabil - das lag aber daran, dass ich noch nicht ALLE Teile verbaut hatte. Wenn man den Käfig mit allen Teilen aufgebaut hat (ist einfach und geht am schnellsten zu zweit) ist er jedoch äußerst stabil und standfest. Das mitgelieferte Zubehör ist toll, allerdings sollte man defintiv noch mehr Etagen einbauen (und natürlich Häuschen, Leitern, etc....). Die Wanne ist sehr stabil, bietet aber an einem rundherum laufenden Winkel eine perfekte Angriffsfläche für Nagezähne. Wir haben die Seitenwände der Plastikwanne daher mit Alublech verkleidet (gibts im Baumarkt), da versucht sich kein Rattenzahn dran! ;)Einziges Manko ist die Größe der Türen, da kann man schon mal einen Krampf bekommen, wenn man versucht mit dem Oberkörper rein zu kommen :DFazit: Der Käfig ist sein Geld wert, aber wegen seiner Größe NUR als Urlaubs- oder Krankenkäfig, nicht als dauerhaftes Rattendomizil geeignet. Für Frettchen empfinde ich die Größe als absolut unangemessen, da viel zu klein!

Dieser Käfig ist RIESIG und meine 3 Ratten haben sich da sehr wohl gefühlt! Leider war ich über Weihnachten 4 Tage weg und eine meiner Ratten hatt unten am Plastik ein Loch rein gekaut und alle 3 sind schnell raus und waren dann 2 Tage lang in der Wohnung bis ich zurück kam! Aber trotzdem 4 Sterne weil der Käfig schön, groß, und sehr einfach zum reinigen ist! Ich hatte halt nur Pech weil ich eine ängstliche Ratte habe die alles zerkaut!

Large cage and a bit fiddly to assemble. You will need to put the tubes in with plenty of the small chains included to stop the tube wobbling about. Before you purchase this cage, you must bear in mind that as the widths are so large, you won't be able to take it through doors unless you take the base off and partly dissemble the cage which is quite awkward. Apart from that, it is a very sturdy cage and although I haven't used it yet, should be alright for 4 ferrets. Just need some decent sized hammocks.

Overall product is fairly sturdy if build well and good quality. I would recommend you build it with two people and a strong pair of hands, as it had taken me around two hours to build on my own and set up the inside with everything. on closer inspection of all the accessories I realized that there are two tunnel/tube connectors missing? which you absolutely don't expect when you pay full price like this. I have yet to get my rats in it but it's certainly large. Perfect for 3 female rats/2 males and only just enough room for 1 ferret I'd say. I look forward to getting years of use from it with a little luck. Thank you :)

Great cage, easy enough to assembly by one female despite quite limited instructions. Very spacious especially if one doesn't use the top platform, thanks to the horizontal bars it's really easy to attach hanging toys, bridges, ropes etc. I got an used item from Amazon Wearhouse deals and I do not regret!!!
