Great craft kit. My first time doing string art. I found that taping the tip of the string helps prevent it from fraying and also makes it easier to tie into a knot when you are finished with the strands. This is a complete craft kit, picture, foam board, pins, embroidery string, and an easel piece for standing when project is complete. It's a little tougher than I thought it would be, but still alot of fun. It takes practice wrapping the string and then holding it in place while you try to tie the loose end.The picture/ pattern that you trace with the string is actually a sticker. You peel off the back. Stick it to the foam board, and place once the pin in the center of each black dot. When starting the string, remember to wrap it around each pin before going to the next.Can't wait to do the other one. It's a two pack. :-)

This was great and a hit at the bday party but the box was very generic and made it look as if it wasn’t purchased as a gift. So that is why I marked it as a 4.

Perfect gift for birthday party. Neatly packaged. All items included. A great DIY project for kids (or adults).

I got this for my neighbors daughter for her 7th birthday and she was thrilled! The two pictures balance each other well with both being gender neutral. The craft was challenging but can absolutely be done by younger kids with some adult supervision/assistance

canot wait opening the box and made my first try. I did have fun from these threads and pins. Easy instruction for me. One more thing, it is kind of a stress relief when I inserted the pins into the foam canvases.
