This is a really nice little jacket for my dog, who has very fine short fur and gets extremely cold in the wind and rain. I really like the look of it, I like that it is reversible, it fits as described, and I absolutely love the light-reflective strip on the shoulders, I feel like it will keep him safer on our winter walks.But it is NOT WATERPROOF as described in the listing title. I was specifically looking for something for him to wear in the rain and this will just not cut it. Whenever I purchase a rain jacket for anyone in the house, the first thing I do is put my hand inside and go run it under the faucet to absolutely soak the outside to see if it's waterPROOF or just water resistant. This would take awhile to be soaked but in a heavy rain that would happen pretty quickly. So this is NOT suitable for a raincoat, just useful for a drizzly cold day or light rain. In a downpour your dog would be soaked and miserable before long.

It fit well on a French bulldog. With them having larger heads it makes it hard to find anything that isn't to Long.

I definitely recommend this jacket. Mainly for when your dog is going to be in the snow or anytime really cold as the jacket is thick and warm. It is not too thick though, our dog was still able to sprint in the snow perfectly fine. Lol. The jacket does not get in the way of him peeing which is great (others do). I love that it is reversible to have two cute looks. Also very smart that they have a reflective strip on both sides. My only semi complaint would be that it is a little confusing to put the jacket on because of the way the bottom of the jacket has to be made in order for it to be reversible, but to me it’s worth it. You get it pretty good after a couple of times. Our dog is roughly 32 pounds and a medium fits perfect. The jacket is made to where even if he was smaller or bigger than that it would still adjust to fit him. They thought of everything! I bought the XL for our black lab/pitbull mix. She is 77 lbs with a strong chest, but her neck and lower torso are more similar to a lab. This fits great! She probably could have for a large as well since the Velcro patches are wide enough to adjust to different widths. She does not seem bothered when we put it on her and looks very cute on our cold weather walks. I have only used it 4 times (when it’s raining/snowing or temps are below 28 degrees). It does get dirty on the under carriage, but wipes off easily with a towel. I have not needed to wash it yet.

So far this jacket seems to work well. I’ll be taking him to the snow tomorrow and if there’s any changes I will edit this review. I purchased a size Small for my Maltese who is very tall and long. He’s 13.6 pounds. I did notice and you can tell by the photos it doesn’t go all the way to the tip of his tail. He’s very long. 18 inches! And I just couldn’t find a sweater with his measurements and wouldn’t be really big on him.

Seems to keep my dog warm. We have been out in -30 deg F temps this past week and while it was not for more than 15 minutes at a time, my dog had no complaints. The only complaint I have is the lack of any type of instructions on how to fit the jacket to various dog frames. My dog is 23 lbs but when the jacket was first tried, it covered some vital parts on the dogs underside. Had to try various configurations before find one that allowed the necessary room yet fit the dog comfortably. Also, if you use a harness rather than just the collar, you will need to allow for the extra room taken up by the coat.

Got this for my pitbull so we could continue our daily walks in colder months. She has very short hair so gets cold easily. This seems very warm. It is easy to put on, easy to adjust in case it's a little too big. It's cute!
