The Rainbow Bridge Motel [Blu-ray]

I'd like to give this rookie effort at gay themed comedy a thumbs up, alas. Poorly written with shaky continuity and stereotyped characters that will make you cringe. The "acting" is of the scream and shout variety. The few actually amusing moments are overwhelmed by a cast of characters with wholly unbelievable motives and too much faked hysteria. We were embarrassed for all involved.

It was hard to get through this film. Mostly yelling, shouting, misunderstanding, amateur theatrics and acting, and adds up to a big zero in the final tally. The basic idea for the film might have worked in the right hands, better actors, better plot lines. As it is, it's just exhausting to put yourself through watching it.Glad it was free on Prime.

Don't even start it. Once you do, you're trapped watching to see if it gets better. It doesn't. It gets worse. The only good part was Darren with his shirt off. Bad acting, unlikable characters, and unbelievable scenarios. I now have PTSD from this film. Save yourselves. It's too late for us.

I gave it two stars because it took guts to market this disaster. Not funny. So cliche and poorly acted. The writing is offensive even to first graders. I've been reading that many consider this a classic. In what universe? Don't bother. I'll sell it to you for $1 if you pay the postage.

see the other critical reviews. that's what I say! I feel badly to give so few stars for something many people put their heart into. THAT much is apparent. But for the few well landed jokes, you'll sit thru many more duds. Oh well.If there were 1/2 stars it's a solid 2.5Definately a LOL for everyone somewhere in this movie. find it.

Likeable characters, good acting, and fine writing all combine to make this a positive and uplifting romantic comedy. Worth seeing as a fun and hopeful counterpoint to life's more mundane and discouraging aspects.

It wasn't that the acting was bad, it was that most of the dialog was stupid. BTW The system forces at least one star. I wouldn't have given it one otherwise.
