These campfire fishing poles are AWESOME! Totally ingenious! So good, we bought a second set of 4 for friends!

This is a pretty neat idea and fun for the whole family - not just kids. The idea of it is what really gets the 4 stars but don't get me wrong, there are some improvements to be made. For instance, I really like that you don't have to bend over or crouch down to get your marshmallows or hot dogs close to the fire. It would be nice for the handle to be a little longer, at least for adults b/c then it would be too long for kids. Having the handle/rod longer would allow you to sit in your seat instead of having to be right next to the fire. Not a horrible thing though. Also, it has a neat device that allows you to flip the food that you have on your prongs. However, the problem with this is that the device is on the end piece right by the prongs - causing it to get hot when you toast the first side. So you either have to flip it quickly or you have to use a stick to flip it. Still a good idea as you have to be able to toast both sides!!

Oh my gosh! Everyone needs one of these. The metal does get hot as one review wrote however I typically wait until the food has cooled a minute prior to taking it off of the skewer. Works perfectly and I love the little jig technique for turning the food. Kids and adults love this. I purchased two of them and they were the hit of the party. So much fun and very good quality construction.
