Shadow Shifter Kids Heat Reactive Color Changing T-Shirt SMARTWEAR Color Shifting

I wasn't too thrilled with this shirt, nor was my 11 year old son. For me, it was a little short, and looked like a shirt that had gone through repeated washings. The blue and green shirts were blah, faded colors. For my son, the color change wasn't as drastic as expected. This would have been fine for an everyday shirt, but we'd bought it as a cool shirt to wear to a party. It's low level cool, that's for sure, but nothing to get excited about.UPDATE: Nevermind. I flippin love this shirt. My other son wore the green today. Sure, it looks like a faded shirt, but making handprints on it is pretty fun. I think the green changes more drastically than the blue.

We were full of nostalgia one car ride around Philly, and my niece wanted to know what Hypercolor shirts were. My sis and I tried to explain how they worked (my niece is 5), and while she understood, it was clear that she wanted to experience it for herself. Fortunately, Shadow Shifter is pretty much the same thing as Hypercolor. The first few times, it took a little more heat to activate it, but after that, it like old times. Buy these clothes, so you can have hand prints on your chest and heat marks radiating from your armpits again!

At first it didn't seem like this would work but it did! I recommend ironing the shirt to show your child how it works, very dramatic change. Only problem is that my son wears a size youth 8 and the medium was too small. He wears it anyway but will surely outgrow it within a month or two, At this price, I wanted more wear.

Ok 80’s kids. This is it!!! Great color changing and decent shirt. Wash in cold water and no dryer and will keep changing color like suppose to. Fun to watch kids with these cause they havent seen anything like it.

When I was telling my son about hypercolor shirts from the 90s, he was amazed. He was super stoked that I was able to find one for him and he loves to wear it. The shape of the garment is "standard American kid" which means it is nearly as wide as it is tall and billows around my tall, slightly slender child.

This TShirt REALLY works even by placing hand palm on it it shifts color very clearly :) and the packaging creates an element of surprise especially for the kids who never experienced this before unlike my husband who’s an 80s kid, the shirt was very nostalgic. Hubby and kids are enjoying them very much.

My son loves his hypercolor shirt. Me and my wife told him about our old hypercolor shirts when we were young and I was pleasantly surprised to find this online. It works well.

The only way to get the material to change color is to breathe on it. Years ago there were different brands out and all you had to do was touch it and it changed color. Grandkids still have fun with them which is the only reason they even got 1 star.
