I use these for costumes and they work well for my needs. Wipe gently when cleaning. They are a thick plastic. They do bend and can break at the more narrow joints. These can be used for a variety of things. Let your imagination run wild and have fun. They do not need to be cut.

I do like these stencils quite I bit, that I just received today, they are thinner than i'd hoped for, but for the cost, what could I expect, anyhow I know a way to thicken them up a bit, so they won't be so dainty, then I won't have to worry about breaking them. But the gear images are truly creative and I like those a lot.

Some of the sencils I do not care for. Whats with the stupid images? That's not steampunk.

Happy for the price. I just wanted the gears; ended up putting masking tape over the symbols. They worked fine for stenciling my dresser.
