Mugwort herb - 4 Ounce Organic Artemisia vulgaris c/s (1, 4 Ounce)

as its alright for many seller to use the same page for product reviews for stuff like Pepsi or xbox's, every seller of things like mugwort should have there own review page. mugwort is grown,harvested,dried,and packaged by different people, so every sellers product is different. the sellers i mention here all forward me to this page same review pageRippling Stream- i ordered twice from them. $5.90/$6.50. both times the mugwort was real. dried properly, smelled good, very few stems, overall good quality, but... i found a lot of trash in both bags- plastic twine, hairs, dirt, and what looked like the pull tab on the cellophane of a pack of cigarettes. if u order from them i wouldn't recommend making tea from it as who knows what crap you'll be drinking, if u smoke it make sure u go through it first looking for foreign crap.Oriental color- ordered 1 time. $2.99. its real. smell good, dried properly, good quality but... its like the whole plant was thrown into a shredder, id say 45% of the weight of the bag is stems, i even found some roots. i also found a dead crushed bug.would not recommend ether of these sellersi smoke mugwort almost every night so i will be buying more, and as more seller foreword me to this review page i will keep updating this review because the reviews are all over the place on this page and multiple products is the reason.and to be clear so people know, u can smoke it and u do get a buzz, the buzz is not a strong as weed but is reminiscent of pot high just doesn't last as long or stupefy u as much. the plant isn't as potent as weed so u will need more then just a few hits to catch a buzz. its nowhere near as harsh as pot or tobacco, if u find it harsh on the lungs make sure your not smoking the stems as real mugwort is one of the smoothest smokes i have tried.

I purchased this as a method of enhancing my dreams, and hopefully remembering them better. I have had a lot of trouble in my life with night terrors, though in recent years they have become a lot less frequent to the point where I can't really recall the last time I had one. I have always been fascinated with the idea of oneirogens and oneiromancy. I don't know that oneiromancy is real, but the experiences we can have in dreams are still powerful none the less.I gave this product four stars instead of five because it has a lot of stems and twigs in it. It is not purely leaves. I do not like this, as the stems and twigs can be a real pain when experimenting with it in different ways. The biggest problem they have given me so far is with smoking it. In order to roll it into papers, I would have to carefully pick out all of the twigs and stems before rolling it. I also have to be careful not to pack stems into my vaporizer pen's herb chamber. It makes for a VERY harsh smoke. They are less of a problem when making tea, but still a problem none the less. I feel this would be a much better product if they used only leaves.A note on the subject of using it to enhance dreams. I have not, as of yet, seen much of an improvement in the vividness of my dreams or my ability to remember them. This may be because I have only being using it for two days, or because I have suppressed my dreams for so long because of the night terrors. Perhaps it is both reasons. In any case, I did not feel this was reason enough to deduct another star. It has nothing to do with the product itself, so far as I can tell.

Product came in as expected, on time, and exactly 4 oz, no less. Effect wise from smoking it, there's no high if that's what you're expecting. However I wasn't. There is a slight calming feeling leaving you in a relaxed mood. And I feel that feeling gets better the more you smoke it. Mugwort does help me sleep as well, and the dreams are defiantly an effect. I've had some insane dreams, lucid af and I can't stress that enough hahah. It's actually really cool in that sense. I haven't yet tried making a tea but hear it has more of a sleepy effect. In my experiences a hand pipe is the preferred way to smoke it. Bong is bad either. And joints are pretty nice, they have a completely different taste than bongs and hand pipes which are also different. A joint is also probably the least harsh way of smoking it, not that it's that harsh. I'd say a little harsher than canabis. Personally I'm currently off the canabis and this isn't a horrible substitute. I mean it's not canabis hahah but it's not horrible. Quality wise, this is my first time smoking it so I can't compare it to anything but it came as expected. A lot of stems but if you look at the product picture you can see the stems so expect them. To begin, the shipping was very quick. Bought it on a Sunday, got it that Thursday.Next the packaging was small and very nice. Nothing crazy; was simple.I bought this because I had a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. I so far have only tried smoking this Mugwort, not the tea. I will soon try the tea. Smoking it wasn't unpleasant or harsh, it was smooth and often had a nice taste. Once you smoke a lot you want to stop because it gets a bit much. It leaves a mild head buzz which lingers for about half an hour.The effects work well but I will say that I have smoked this at night 3 times. The first night I slept well and I had a great lucid dream. Then the two nights following were bad and I could remember my dream but woke up with a bad headache and feeling incredibly drowsy. I only slept for 9 hours each time so it's not like I over slept.Maybe I smoked too much or maybe this herb straight up isn't meant for smoking.
