These change gears will go right on the gear shafts of your Hardinge lathe. However, please be aware that they WILL NOT mate with stock Hardinge gears! The Hardinge gears are 22/29 stub tooth with a 20 degree pressure angle. The Boston gears are 20 pitch with a 14.5 degree pressure angle.
