CIAO VESTITI EL Real Fur and Leather Winter Trooper Hat with Shearling Bomber Hat Aviator Russian Ushanka Hat

A lot of Ushanka type hats online are faux fur or are not lined on the interior with anything but cloth. This hat is the exception. It's nice looking and completely lined. I've already tested it in VERY cold, take-your-breath-away-windy New England weather, and it performed as advertised; my head was completely warm and I only had to worry about my hands! The lining is soft and does not irritate your skin, an important consideration when you're outside for long periods of time. Beyond that, this hat offers another advantage. Instead of a leather strip to tie at the top regularly or under your chin when wearing the ear flaps down, there is a snap button with two settings, one for tighter and another for a looser connection, mounted on a sturdy strap. I've had this style of hat before with only a leather lace to tether the flaps. After a while, that leather piece broke and it was very hard to reattach. That WON'T happen with this hat.I recommend this hat unreservedly. You can find cheaper Ushanka style hats online but, as they say, you get what you pay for. Why not purchase a hat you can wear for many years rather than for just a season or two?
