Mucros Irish Cap Wool Tweed Charcoal Herringbone Made in Ireland

This is my best flat cap, bar none. I have five,. I don't have any crappy ones either, I send them back it they don't fit, or if they're ugly.The coloring is subtle, and beautiful. I prefer the Mucros cut, which is flatter than the deeply triangular style of aome flat caps. Look at where the mucros hat rests on the model's head. It's a great example of the mucros cut. It will rest lower if you want, but it has a shallower cut, which I feel flatters the face and profile better than the deeper cut of flat caps.This has elastic in the band, but placed subtly. I went a size larger, and the elastic made it a perfect fit, but I suspect that it would have been fine a size lower, too, thanks to the elastic.

I've been in the states since I was 2, family of nine I was 6 from the top. I visited my grandparents every year, in Co. Galway and miss it a great deal now that my folks and grand folks are gone. Not only does this havlt fit and feel beautifully, soon as I opened the bag, the genuine smell of the region waffed in my face. Flash backs of being a boy, and listening to my curmudgeonly Gran tell stories of his and my dads youth hit my brain like a jolt. My only problem now, is I want to keep buying their goods, just for that purpose, I wish I could afford it, as it'd be worth everything I have.

The cap got to me quickly. I was initially concerned as it was delivered in a padded yellow envelope, but it was in perfect condition. It fits great, and looks sharp. I can wear it someplace nice, or wear it someplace better... and get a pint without missing a step.

I put that it fits somewhat small only because the elastic is tight. It stretches fully to a tight fit, but I think with regular wear it will relax and fit wonderfully since I fell like it already has somewhat. The overall quality of this hat is excellent. Love the feel and the look; it just feels like it was made with attention to detail.

The material not only has a nice design, but it's also made out of good quality material. The bill is nice and stiff as to keep it's shape.The tweet wool is exceptionally light and warm, yet breathable.. I had my girlfriend measure my head to help me get the right size, so I recommend you do the same.

This is the second Mucros hat that I have purchased and I really like them. The previous purchase was a XXL and I was a little worried that the XL would be too small. It is slightly smaller, but still fits very well and is nice and warm for the cold winter ahead (central US).

This is an excellent flat cap. Quality Irish materials and construction. Really appreciate the bit of stretch in the band that helps to customize the fit.

Phenomenal hat! I bought this a little hesitantly, but it fits perfectly and looks great. I bought a similar hat while in Ireland, and wanted to get another. I wear this almost everyday and it looks like the hat could last a lifetime. I rarely review products, but this one absolutely deserved a 5 star rating.
