Good part, not for beginers
I needed to replace a board in a Kenbak computer simulator. The original USB micro broke off due to mechanical strain and it was easier to replace the board than try to bond the connector to the board. Soldering this board takes a bit of skill but once it was on the main PCB, it worked well. Hopefully I fixed the strain issue and there won't be any further issues.

Good value but build quality not consistent
Functionally, both CP2102 units that I purchased worked perfectly for my IR receiver project. Unfortunately, the USB socket on one of the boards was soldered at an angle (it was not mounted flush to the board), which made it difficult to fit into a custom case. As I only needed one board, this defect wasn’t a showstopper, but I do question the consistency of the build quality.

Linux sees 'em both, but on one, the 3.3V was 4.2V. Measure twice, toss once!
