All the way from Italy, the cookies come very fresh. The exp date is 4/29,2007. Cookies come wrapped in traditional pretty paper. They also are wrapped in cellphone, ensuring freshness. Cookies come in a pretty box, which is great for gift giving.

Best amaretti you can get

The box arrived damaged. It looks like it was opened and then taped up. I'm not comfortable eating them. Extremely disappointed. This item is not eligible for a return or replacement.

I have recently moved from Rhode Island to Florida and am frequently disappointed with how difficult it is to find products that are available almost everywhere up there. Especially Italian food. These are wonderfully crunchy with a sweet almond taste just as they are supposed to be. But I am used to having two cookies bundled together and no internal wrapper. I assume the difference is because of they way they are sold and this keeps the cookies fresh longer in a warehouse. But the number of cookies you get for the price makes these a splurge rather than a routing purchase. Again, the cookies are great. I just think they are a bit expensive.

The cookies were delivered very promptly. They were carefully packaged and arrived in fantastic condition. Yum.

First, any cookie not in a tin will come to you absolutely crushed. Second, there are two types of cookies. This kind, called amaretti del chiostro - everyone complaining about stall hard cookies, well just like me, bought these. These are also subtly labeled individually wrapped, which is just annoying, plastic underneath the paper. What everyone is actually wanting to purchase is the amaretti di saronno. These are the amaretti cookies that come as 2 half spheres wrapped together bottom to bottom creating a full sphere. They are still crispy, but have a more complex texture than just hard. I wish the listing did a better job of distinguishing these two types of cookies.

Always have these in the house, more often than not we use them to make an amaretti cream desert rather that as an accompaniment to coffee.

Buoni e particolari gli amaretti e ben particolare la carta che li avvolge. La scatola in cartone che li conteneva,per altro bene in sintonia con il prodotto venduto,richiede un piccolo sforzo in piu' nel confezionamento/chiusura. SUGGERITO L ACQUISTO.
