I'm from Italy and i'm lucky that in my country we have so many good pastry chef, some of the greatest...But William Curley has really surprised me. Patisserie is one of my go to pastry books, and this Couture Chocolate is really one of the best books about chocolate. I mean, if you love chocolate, you will adore this book. Curley teaches pastry really well and his recipes are always delightful. His last book Nostalgic Delights is also a great book to have in your collection.The recipes are both in metrics and cups

Favourite cookbook
Two years on this is probably my favourite cookbook. This is not quick baking, some of these recipes took me two days to complete the various components prior to assembly but everything I've made has exceeded expectations.The hazelnut, raspberry, and salted caramel tart is out of this world.

Great looking book!
Bought as a present so only had a quick look inside. The pictures look great and the recipient said it was great to read.

Awesome book, sadly not for beginners
Chocolate can be translated as Curley. This guy knows his craft and you see it in this recipes.Carefull as it's for people with already some practices, nonetheless still a great book.

Well explained for amateurs as well
Includes great tips and is explaining all basics first which is great for any amateur chocolate lover like me

Fantastic book, one of the best I own
Absolutely fantastic book. I have many pastry and baking books and this is one of the best. I should say that it has lots of the the type of recipes I personally like making like posh teacakes (like tunnocks) so if you like confectionery this is a great book

Amazing cookbook for amateurs and pro's!
I purchased this book after visiting William Curleys chocolate and patisserie shop in Belgravia and was blown away by the quality of this book. I am not a professional chef however I've always had in interest in chocolate making and this book tells you the history as well as all the basics with really clear instructions and images to accompany them. Although titled couture chocolate it also had a lot of baked and Patisserie inside, which is not obvious from the cover. The book is full of stunning photography, I found myself simply looking at this book for several hours! A must have for all those interested in cooking with chocolate, I would recommend this book to anyone!
