My company gave me knock-off's. We're better than knock-offs.
Use an RE-20/RE-27/RE-320? The excuse "the company should give me..." doesn't apply in the new world anymore. If you want the best. Go get the best and write it off. These... are from the people who make the mics in the "Studios of the Future..." so get one. You will be glad you did because it's better in every way.

There are Pros and Cons
I have an RE-320 that I bought in a package deal that came with a metal pop filter (valued at $60) where the screw wouldn't fit right, causing it to be loose. Frustrated and seeing this big foam windscreen used on TV and radio show mics often, I decided to give it a try. There's clearly, in my opinion a Pro and Con.PRO: It does a great job with plosives (P's) and definitely helps further reject background noise. By comparison to the expensive pop filter, it is actually better at rejecting background noise and probably 90% as good at dealing with plosives.CON: For me at least, it unmistakably deadens or muddles my voice a little bit. I did a little sound comparison with the pop filter and this wind screen and I can hear my voice sounding a little muddier.VERDICT: I found a longer screw that fit and am back to using the metal pop filter for now.. The RE-320 (or 20/27) Metal Pop Filter is $60 while this windsceen is only $20. I guess it's one of those get what you pay for type of deals. I prefer to the Pop Filter but at triple the price it should be better. The windscreen will do a good job with those popping P's but so will good mic technique.. I woudn't say this is a poor investment, if you have a RE-20 mic you should have something over it and this fits that bill. I'd say if you want to spend the extra money the pop filter is better, but this isn't the worst thing either.. I mean, its not like it makes your voice sound like mud either.

Good fit but expensive
The fit and foam are good but very high priced for what they are. Fit my RE-20 perfectly.

Almost as effective as a pop filter, but more convenient
Pretty effective with plosives when 6 inches from the mic. Slightly less effective that a good pop filter screen, but it's more convenient for recording from a desktop. I've noticed some comments about it not fitting the RE20 if using the shockmount. I haven't found that to be the case. The thing to remember is that you don't need to have the windscreen pulled all the way tight on the microphone. leaving an air gap will give you better results.

Perfect fit and works like a charm!
As someone very much used to the SM7b and its VO windscreen I was thrilled to find this for the RE320. It fits great, works perfectly, and does exactly what it's supposed to do: control plosives without the need for a floating pop filter.Contrary to other reviews, I did not find this to "muddy" the sound any more than any other foam windscreen over any other mic (including my trusty SM7b). Any high frequency attenuation is certainly not a deal breaker and easily countered with minimal EQing.Admittedly, it's not the cheapest out there, but I was able to get this "Used-Like New" through Amazon Warehouse and it was in perfect condition. Very glad to have saved a few bucks, but was more than ready to pay full price.

THE REAL DEAL FOR YOUR EV RE SERIES MICROPHONES DONT SETTLE FOR THE CHEAP COPYCATS. THIS IS WELL WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY.
After 4 years using Radio shack copycat windscreens for my RE320 microphones i finally got around to getting the PROPER WINDSCREENS DESIGNED FOR THESE GREAT RE series MICS. And these work 1000% better than the cheapos they do cost more BUT THEY ARE MUCH WORTH IT AND VERY STRONG AND DURABLE ( just like all EV mics) and best of all THE WINDSCREENS MAKE MY 320'S SOUND PERFECT. I am a 20 year radio dj/ announcer and im very selective about the gear i use for my home production studio.overall It has to be on par with the radio station's studio where i do my shows Thank You Amazon and Electrovoice For making these wonderful produts availible and easy to purchase. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL MY FELLOW RADIO /PRO AUDIO COLLEAGUES EVERYWHERE.

it is an EV
Not your average pop filter - exactly what I expected from EV.

Fits well, but way too expensive
It also isn't compatible with their own shock mount, surprisingly enough.
