In The Beginning

I can remember when critics were very snooty about CTI. I never went for this viewpoint, liking pretty much all jazz (including avant garde). I did not have this album in the 70s but it is the usual beautifully produced sound and impeccable playing so typical of Creed Taylor's recordings. I recommend it very highly. I have given the same review for "Rite of Spring" by H L.

To be honest I was not impressed with this CD.
