Awesome
This walking pole is awesome. FYI, I bought two of the $12.00 extensions to go with the pole kit instead of just buying the extension only and then complaining about my stupidity in the comments! It might not be perfect for mountain hiking, but survival and self defense while walking it is unmatched. I love it.

Worth buying. Nice piece
Nicely built. Accessories are good quality. Height is either a hair to short or too long with the extension but usable. Depends on the person. Seems very dependable

Needs a rubber, to use it indoor spaces and needs a little cap for the open end of the handle.

Not what it seemed.
When I happened upon this Alpenstocks Walking Poles Outdoor Camping Defense Stick, from Allfine, during a search for wilderness survival products, the price was marked at $12.00, and it gave the impression that you got the whole thing for that price. When my package arrived it was only one small section. And when I went back to look again at the advertisement to see if maybe one had to buy each section separately, I discovered that the price had been changed to $78.00. Either someone made a mistake in the original pricing, or it was deliberately misleading. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Very good travel cane
Great travel cane if you can deal with the weight. I like how heavy it is.

Great hunting cane.
Love to hunt by my knees are wearing out in my old age. Ordered this cane to go deer hunting in the rough terrain I usually hunt with friends and it worked perfectly to help me keep my balance with my gun and pack on, preventing several would be falls. I used the metal foot on the bottom because the land we hunt is rocky with lots of shale protruding from the ground. My hunting buddies were impressed and after examining it and borrowing it when they put on a drive to push deer into my location said they were considering getting one for themselves.
