Turning Holiday Ornaments (ELEMENTS OF WOODTURNING)

This is exactly what I needed/wanted for project ideas on learning to turn simple things on a lathe. I'm a 71 year old gramma of 3, 2 boys and a girl. I've wanted to learn how to turn pens so I was given a midi lathe from my family. My very first turning came from this book. A snowman icicle. This book will be treasured for a long time to come and hope it will serve members of my family long after I am gone. This really IS a beginner's book on wood turning simple decorations. Please get it, you won't be disappointed. OH. I should tell you that the snowman icicle came out PERFECT! ;O)

Great book! I wanted a little inspiration for my holiday turning this year. This is a nice book to reference for holiday turning projects.

Just learning how to turn. Book provided simple project examples that develop skill.

I did turn some of these ornaments and they found there way onto some family trees and holiday decorations. The book was easy to follow and had good photos of the finished projects. For beginning turners or novice turners I think this book would be excellent for them.

Great little book with full info on lots of different ornaments. Since I downloaded the book, I can use it in the shop on my tablet to go step-by-step on each project!
