With the included leather cordage , I am wearing my pocket watch like a pendant necklace. Beautiful. easy to open, wind, and set the correct time. Well worth the cost.

I bought this watch that needs to be wound up because my other pocket watch was battery operated and the battery died, and I could not get the back of the watch off. Since the watch was only ten dollars, I threw it out. It would have cost more than the watch was worth to go to the Jewler and get it maintained. I like that I won't have to worry about the battery again. The new watch is very attractive, and I really like the chain that hooks easily to my jeans pocket. The only thing that is a drawback is that the hands of the watch can be a little difficult to read at times. The face does glow green when exposed to light, but I don't know when it would be regularly exposed to light to use this feature which makes it easier to read the time. Overall, a nice watch that doesn't need a battery.

The case is plastic. A clear spot in the face allows viewing of the works from the front, on the back, another clear spot allows viewing of works. The dial is luminous after exposure to sunlight, light. The case opens, after pressing the top button, to expose the watch face. In addition to the leather lanyard, it comes with a proper pocket watch chain. The set-up instructions are basic, with a caveat about over winding. Over winding does damage a wound watch, so follow the directions. A good buy for the price.

A great looking pocket watch at a great price. It keeps good time unlike the last one I had that ran on a battery. I really like that it's a hand wind up watch. You won't regret buying this watch.

Impossible to read, was roman numerals when I thought I was getting numbers. All the visible gears are cool but again can't read it.

I realize that this is a totally inexpensive pocket watch but I thought I would at least be able to use it. It is small and in my opinion almost IMPOSSIBLE to read the time. The hands they are very thin, black and blend into the face. It's too bad because it's kind of cool looking. More or less just a decoration as it is.
