Best low carb, high protein staple
We have been using these beans as a low carb, high protein substitute for pasta for a few years, and they are outstanding. The nutrition protein/carb ratio for these are way better than any other bean or high protein pasta out there. We use it with red sauce, alfredo, or make a simple meal with minced garlic, peppers, ground chicken and sriracha as others have mentioned. I've received dented cans but who cares? I open them and throw away the can. The new tabbed lid is easy. This is a great, consistent product that is a staple in our house.

I've Subscribed!
I love that I can get this on Subscribe and Save! No crazy added ingredients. Just beans and water. Usually beans have a ton of added sodium. Yuck. It's hard for me to find cannellini beans dry or canned in my area, so I have to order them to get a decent price. Also, there are always food drives going on in my area and thanks to s&s I always have a little bit extra in the pantry to donate.I'm a vegan and I eat a lot of beans for the protein. These are great to add to soups or stews, with pasta, etc. So good.

Nice big flavorful beans
Nice big beans, great flavor and good cold or hot. I use in panzanella salad mostly. Some cans the beans are undercooked and tougher but not usually.

Dented cans
Half the cans were dented. Would not buy again.

Quality packaging....
Very good Italian-grown white beans. They call it "frustration free" packaging. It really should be called "solid packaging of high quality ." This is THE ONLY canned product I've had shipped to me that wasn't all banged up, with many cans close to being gashed open. I remember long ago being told to avoid heavily dented cans. I don't know how valid that old rule is, but every time, in a store or here, when I see cans dented all over, I am uncomfortable eating the contents. But these cans are separated from one another with stiff cardboard. Bravo!

To Small!
The beans have a good flavor, but are small and have a tendency to break up easily in a recipie. I prefer the Progresso brand. They are a larger bean and stay whole. If you like the smaller beans, then you will like this brand.

A terrific "go to" ingredient in our kitchen: soups, stews, salads... (I always have a can or two as a basic in the pantry.)
