I'm a bit of an audiophile and was dubious. Traditional thinking dictates that small bookshelf speakers can't deliver - specifically - bass. These little beauties deliver every aspect of the sound spectrum precisely and with ooomph! Tops, middles and lows all covered. They're like the pit pony of speakers, small but powerful. They're actually tiny. 4" drivers (probably smaller than your car speakers). I have no idea where they get their power..Hook them up to an excellent tiny Moukey amp and hold on to your hats. (I'm not sponsored by either company, but they deserve praise indeed)I'm currently running through my entire Spotify playlist to see if they have weaknesses. They don't.Consider my skirt officially blown up.

Love these speakers, great sound reproduction. They came with two speaker cables, which I found useful.

Bought these speakers for our caravan to upgrade from the crappy ones built into the hardboard trim.Nice and small, fit perfectly on the small shelves next to the large front window on a Bailey Verona GT65. Very clear sound - vocals in particular so much clearer.Not a huge amount of bass, but it is there and well represented. We wouldn't want to be obnoxious van-neighbours so we are quite happy that they don't make the van shake. Really happy with them, look and sound great.

Where do you start, other than wow, wow, wow. These speakers were bought to supplement an excellent Panasonic SA-PM250B cd/Bluetooth/FMDab unit which came with passive speakers which, sadly never came close to being enjoyable for a long time HiFi fanatic who wants to downsize on equipment footprints. After a lot of research chose these speakers and was immediately impressed at the excellent improvement in sound quality that they brought to an excellent moderately priced Panasonic unit. An old lesson learned was that speakers should cost 60% of the combined cost of an amp and speakers. The good news is that the speakers are getting better the longer I use them (burning in- HiFi tech term). With regards to the Remote Control/Volume Control ratings, this is not applicable as these are Passive Speakers and those features are controlled by my excellent Panasonic unit. To sum up, match made in heaven for an excellent price.
