After research into thermal values, I bought a load of IKEA Trippevalls honeycomb block-out blinds (The block out coating adds to the thermal value).Unfortunately my windows are not standard sizes so I installed this wider Compriband on both sides to stop drafts and they work perfectly. My mum also used it under the static side of her hall door which was whistling and it also worked a treat.Sad its out of stock here, we ordered more from Germany but the shipping is prohibitive. I can see it having many uses.

Great foam strip, sealed under the polycarbonate sheet really well massive expansion rate

It seems to work, the adhesive is really good and sticks nicely. The packaging is awkward to remove, however so I’d suggest a blade or something to get it started. Takes a moment for the foam to rise but other than that it seems decent.

We had a gap left underneath some skirting and this was excellent for filling that in. With a small gap left underneath the skirting, we were able to slip a long strip of this material underneath to prevent draft and spiders from crawling between the gap. This seems to be the best value for money for what I needed, and felt it was of good quality when it came to install. Would buy this again for similar tasks without hesitation.
