Stickiness goes away
It has some what of a push feel, but not as much as I wanted. As well the hole was to small for my mouse pad, so I cut off the middle part and leave it as two separate pieces. Also because I need to take them off every time I close my laptop, it doesn't have the sticky feeling to stock to the laptop anymore, so it shifts often while I type.

Beyond its ergonomic benefits, I call this an assistive device.
I'm back to order my second one. It's a one-of-a-kind product, apparently only available in this ugly green color. That's one of the only cons. The other is the cellophane film on the top. As other reviews have mentioned, leaving the cellophane on is preferable to being without it as the gel is very tacky. The manufacturer, however, is probably assuming the consumer will remove it and therefore isn't careful to apply it smoothly or straight. On the plus side, I will say that this product is even better than expected for my intended purpose. My elderly father has a Macbook Pro and, like others, doesn't care much for the sharp edge. I've also noticed how much trouble he has keeping the palms of his hands off the giant trackpad when typing. It results in many errors or else much strain to keep his hands clear. This pad solves both problems. At first, I was worried at how the "clicker" would work when, as you can seen in the picture, the gel covers most of it. To my surprise however, clicking is now as easy as pressing on the gel itself. That too is an added bonus.

Not for anyone with sensitive skin!
Great in theory, but with two main problems. The first, which is pretty easily fixable, is that it really should be 2 pieces rather than one, due to differences in trackpad placements on varying keyboards. It's easy to cut, though, so I made it into 2 pieces pretty easily. The second problem was the deal-breaker for me. I have pretty sensitive skin, so I'm sure not everyone will have this issue, but unlike most other gel wrist rests, this does not have any type of cover, and the substance with which the skin has direct contact is sticky and aggressively nonslip. As a result, the gel material chafed my wrists pretty badly, to the point where some of the skin had rubbed off after typing for a couple of hours. So if your skin is the least bit sensitive, definitely do NOT buy this wrist rest!

It works well on Mac, using a scissor!
I read all the reviews before buying it, and I bought it for a MBP 13". I guess at least 50% of people who are interested in this product are thinking of using it on their MBP cause the sharp edge does hurt a lot. I had to wear my tennis wristband to reduce the pain of my wrist while working in front of the computer! It's funny, but it's actually very effective. Anyway, I found this product and did some research. The material is gel and I like gel. Some other laptop wrist comfort products are rubber or nylon surface, which I don't like. So this really depends on your preference. The empty middle square is surely TOO SMALL for the touchpad on mac, as mentioned a few times in the previous reviews. There's no way you could use it directly on your mac. First, the upper and lower "connection bar" apply weight on your touchpad to trigger unwanted action; second, touchpad gestures are so limited that you won't feel it's a Mac anymore! Just imagine swipe or scroll on your touchpad and meet those "boundaries". Touchpad / multi touch gestures are one of the best aspect of Mac! So it's very important to be aware of what I described and feel comfortable about the "solution" below before you buy this one; otherwise, you will be disappointed. The solution is to take a scissor and cut the product into two pieces, like show in the picture. Now you have the freedom to position the left and right part anywhere you like on the mac. You can happily use the touchpad like before and enjoy the wrist support. Peel off the plastic on the bottom and use a big scissor to cut. Also don't peel off the thin plastic film on the top. It's supposed to be there so your wrist feels smooth on the pad, not sticky. The bottom is pretty sticky and stays perfectly on the metal surface of the Mac. Totally no need to worry about the left and right pieces move with your hand movement. It's also easy to peel off the gel from the Mac when you want to fully close the laptop. Or you could just leave them there. I am just thinking the thin plastic top is not good for the screen. For a $6 item, it's surely good and not much I want to complain. It works well, feels comfortable, and greatly supports my wrist. I do not feel any pain at all. At first it feels a bit odd to type with the gel there; but I get used to it very soon. It's not beautiful on your mac, but it truly works!

great, but I think it'd be better as two pieces
I like this wrist rest enough that I just ordered a second one. I have a Zenbook, and the edge is somewhat sharp, but the rest also puts my wrists in a much better position and just feels comfortable. I like that it's a fairly firm gel. I did cut it into two pads, like many other people have done. I think it'd be much better as two pieces than one; that's really the only reason I took off a star. Otherwise I think it's wonderful, and the only wrist rest that has felt comfortable/supportive instead of just getting in the way.One thing I haven't noticed in other reviews but which happened to me: mine changed color. My first one is now an olive color, which I actually prefer, but it is a bit odd. I bought the first one and then promptly misplaced it for several months, and when I found it again, olive. It wasn't exposed to anything interesting...just sitting in a box.

USELESS
tried this - as well as the bottom sticks to the laptop, the top and sides stick to everything else. after a few days it was basically coated in cat hair and dust. the only reason I didn't return it is because it was basically trashed by that point, and it's so cheap it doesn't cover the cost of return shipping. tempting bc it's cheap, but do not buy.
