It's a bowl- but it's width means mixing is easier. It's wide - but its splash guard makes speckling your kitchen with pancake mixture a thing of the past. There's a lid - but you don't have to remove it totally when you need to whisk the batter you left standing; the beaters of your hand-held mixer can enter through the aperture left by the lid. It's plastic - but the deep rim acts as a secure handle and if the mixture needs to be poured, there's a useful jug-like lip. It's all the things you never knew you really needed from a bowl. And there's a good guarantee. great value.

I've only just got around to using this bowl today. I used it to make chocolate buns - normally when I mix the flour in with my electric whisk it goes everywhere no matter how careful I am! Today - hardly any flour escaped the bowl which made cleaning up afterward much easier!I wasn't sure this bowl would be big enough but I made my usual sized batch with no issues. I had no problem using my electric whisk through the opening and reached all of the bowl easily. When I took the lid off everything was properly mixed in. It's also well made and sturdy. I really like it and would be happy to recommend it.

I used to have a Tupperware jug like this. I was fed up with flour shooting everywhere when I put a hand held mixer into a bowl, which prompted me to make this purchase.As with its predecessor, this bowl works. However, it is tapered in shape, which detracts from the stability. The item worked well, stopping the spatters, but the stability issues mean you have to hold it tightly whilst using it .For the price it’s good.

I brought two different size of bowls, one for my daughter, the other for myself. We are both very pleased by its great design, colour and shape. It's easy to use, simple to wash. Our only cristism when using our hand held food mixers are the beaters on the mixer are too short, therefore we can't use the bowl or the intention it was brought for. That is not the fault of the actual bowl but if our standard handheld food mixers. Perhaps with a smaller size bowl it would work using the hand mixers. But definitely a sturdy bowl and good value for the money

The lid does the job and my hand mixer blades are easy to position. Only gave 4 stars for sturdiness because other reviews have suggested the red can leak colour in the dishwasher. Just in case, I'm handwashing it.

I have two now they are great for letting my bread rise. Just lift centre xap to see how it doing.Easy clean and good size. So impressed I have two.

Non slip base. Good size for hand electric mixer. Used with and without inner lid. Haven’t washed in dishwasher yet.

This bowl has a wide base which makes it not so versetile as I'd like. Only suitable for largish quantities. The quality is good, the splash guard is efficient, it sits tight on the work-surface as it has a non-slip base and it washes easily. It arrived in a huge box with loads of packaging so I couldn't believe it was only my bowl! It will be very handy for bigger quantities when all the family are at home or using at events for mixing larger amounts.
