The Complete Scottish Bagpipe Collection

Okay, I admit it. I really, really like bag pipes, and like them even better when it's a combination of pipes and drums. Whether you're Scot or not (some Scot, mostly Irish here) this CD is sure to get your heart rate up. This CD and the lead off trac, "Scotland the Brave", is a great alternative to a second cup of coffee on the way to work.

I love bagpipe music and this is nice music. I agree with some of the other reviews that it would be better without the other instruments. I do like the drums (but not the other instruments) with Scotland the Brave. This gets 4 stars because it sometimes skips.

This was a super hit for my wife's birthday. She listens to it everytime she is in the car. She also received another CD with Bagpipe music. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys the bagpipes.

All the classics are here. I particularly like the fact it sounds like they are playing in a concert hall-makes the drones all the more impressive. Only complaint-it does not list which bands/pipers contributed to the cd.

This two volume set has a large number of selections of Scottish bagpipe music. I enjoyed the collection; however, the selections seemed inconsistent in quality. It could be that my presumption of inconsistency in quality was simply that I enjoyed some selections and not others.

The case came cracked and broken, but the CD was okay. The exchange was seamless! The music is awesome!
