Long life

I used this for lawn trimer and cutter. I just expected longer time than my 5Ah battery, but this is giving a lot more power to the trimer, of course longer. I need to see more month but anyway the first impression was awesome.

I always thought this battery didn't really have the 9Ah (as the label says). I measured the capacity today, it has 5 Ah capacity. I rarely use it because it's 50% bigger/heavier. I only use it need the larger capacity. But since it does not have larger capacity, and it's much larger, I rarely use it. The battery has very little usage at time of (5.0Ah) test (less than 25 cycles).Genuine Makita is better value.UPDATE: Tenmoer is motivated to provide customer satisfaction and has sent me one new replacement for the two 9.0ah batteries purchased. But the new improved battery test showed only 6.5ah capacity (72% of the claimed 9.0ah).

I purchased a set of these batteries last year. One just recently died but the other is still going strong. So I purchased another set last week. They are great for running the weed Wacker and blower. They last a long time on my construction tools as well. For sure worth the price.

I’ve got four of these for my Makita push lawn mower. One has failed and will no longer charge after a year in service. About ten charges. The other three are still going strong so only knocking off two stars.The mowers came with two Makita brand 5 amp hour batteries that still perform well… about 35 minutes of mow time. These 9amp/hr batteries go for about 45 min to an hour. I think I’ll try the 6amp/hr ones next.

more like a 5 amp, ....once again amazon allows deceptive china sellers to sell the products that makita would never allow because of the cheap quality. these are the garbage batteries that didn't pass quality control , so they sell them on amazon now....chinas garbage dump
