Perfectly fine for those in shape.. for us older folks whose chest has dropped to their waist, it's a pretty tight fit. I probably should've gotten a "tall" as there wasn't much to tuck into my trousers. Looks great, comfortable material.

Ordered last minute because I couldn't find the right fitting shirt locally. Shirt shipped fast and fit my tall son perfectly.

Quality shirts for a good price

Exactly what you would expect from a Van Heusen white shirt. No surprises and that's a good thing.

My stats (to help you choose a size):5’ 8” / 210 lbs / chest 47” / waist 36 (in Levi’s) / biceps 16”.Perfect fit for me: 17.5” 34/35 (xl), feels tailored. A great option if a classic/regular size is too big, but slim fit is too tight. The fabric does have a very slight stretch to it, but not enough to matter. I wish it had a little more, but thats not a deal breaker. (Look at Van Heusen Fitted Stretch if you want more. Excellent shirts w/ same fit but very limited colors).I have a large 17 3/4” neck, so I can’t wear a tie, but the fit across chest is great. It’s fitted around the belly, but not so much where it makes you look like sausage. You’ll actually look leaner and more polished off. I’m a little wide in the shoulders, so if I reach out, it’s a little tight around the upper back. So I wouldn’t take this shirt out dancing. If I got the 18” version, it would fit at the neck, but too loose everywhere else . The 17 inch version would be way too tight.All in all, it’s a sharp looking shirt that would be great for the office or out to dinner.

I have more of a lifter/bodybuilder build, which means very broad shoulders, chest, and back with a 12-15" drop to my waist. That means that traditional fits and even slim fit dress shirts don't usually work, since they either fit my shoulders but get way too wide and boxy at the waist ... or mirror my waist size and get way too tight around the chest, shoulders, and arms.Luckily, this brand exists. I've been using it for about 15 years, and I've always felt like it does a good job of tapering to my build without looking cartoonishly tight at any point. I look athletic, not fat or corny, in these shirts.Unfortunately, the quality seems like it keeps going down hill. Especially as it relates to the wrinkle-free claim; sorry, but these are the opposite of wrinkle-free. These shirts are basically always wrinkled or at least creased; they don't seem to respond to the shower steam tactic, they take forever to iron, and they'll develop wrinkles and creases even after dry cleaning and pressing with heavy starch.They're great to wear under a jacket or if you roll the sleeves up for a casual post-5PM look, but you're going to look cheap and disheveled if you wear them in a professional context on their own.

Good fit, good shirts

Shirt is good quality and fits my 14 yr. old grandson''s 14.5 inch neck perfectly. Soft to the touch and very well made.Nothing to dislike.

Great shirt. Slim fits just don't do it for me and the classic fit kind of feels too billowy but this cut is perfect. Sleeve length was spot on and a good sturdy collar. One thing is that it does need ironing after a laundering. I hang dry most of my shirts as I find they last longer that way so ironing is notvan issue for me. I can't say if putting them in the dryer would remedy this but a thumbs up from me 👍

I'm 6'2" 205 lbs with a slimmer build but have a large neck so ordered a 17.5 neck 34/35 sleeve and it filled the bill thanks to the slimmer fit. It was still a little large in the shoulders and waist but much better than a classic, regular fit shirt. The material is light weight.
