My calves are left leg 55cm, right leg 52cm. So not easy to find stuff in 'healthy activity' clothing. They have a 2.5cm wide 'velcro' strip down the front and a zip. They were snug, but nonetheless a good fit. The hook to anchor on your boots lacings is substantial and does the trick.The underfoot strap is 1.5cm wide with perforations at 1.5cm intervals for the buckle. The vinyl straps longevity is a question mark due to its narrowness. But I expect it to last several seasons. It does have a securing loop to hold the excess which is a nice surprise. (I usually end up cutting them to length)At the top of the gaiter is a tightening band to prevent the gaiter drooping. It is a 2cm webbing band going through a quick release plastic buckle. More substantial than the average.They have been waterproof so far but haven't really been tested.The star was lost because the lower half of the gaiter is quite puffy and became very muddy very quickly (which doesn't happen with my Shayson gaiters).

Bought these for my wife, when she goes dog walking and the long grass is wet. Although sceptical, they absolutely do the job, and they are adjustable in size to fit anyone. Definitely recommend.

With waterproof walking boots kept me dry wading through a mile of waterlogged fields, the water was over my ankle in parts so very happy with them. On getting home found easy to clean an extra bonus.

used during a very ardous and muddy hike. There were 3 deep and unsuspecting puddles of mud that I would have paid £11.00 not to step in and I stood in 3 that went right up to my shins. These gators prevented anything from getting into my boots and were very wind resistant and stayed put once strapped up. Great product

Purchased for husband for his hikes in the countryside. He said they were well made and kept his legs dry. However longer in the leg than expected but did not detract from their effectiveness.
