Miller Medical Hydrocolloid Dressing - 5cm x 5cm (x5)

If you do lots of walking you get blisters, instead of spending loads of money on Compeed packs get this stuff and cut it down to size, you can then back it up with a good strong zinc oxide tape. Just be aware to soak it all of in warm water after the hike is over.And before you ask I do have the correct footwear and socks, I have been doing this a fair while

The dressing itself works very well, the only issue I experienced was that the sticky surface area wasn’t big enough to allow the dressing to stay in position. I resolved the problem by adding surgical tape around the edges to keep it in place. Would definitely buy more of these again though.

Note that the 5x 5 size takes the non-hydrocolloid sections on the dressing as well.EDIT:I use this for acne on my face and the pads are slightly too thick to stick on my face. I would prefer a thinner one next time.

these are good to stop children (and adults) picking at an open wound. I left them on for a couple of days before changing. The scab had started to heal over so left the second one on for three days. It did smell a bit when I took it off but it was almost healed and I could wash the area before putting on another.

These are good to have in but they are very small at 5cm by 5cm, considering you are supposed to have some spare distance surrounding a pressure sore. I do like to have a variety of sizes in though and these may just come in handy for protecting places that are starting to look a little sore.

Fantastic dressing . Wouldn’t be without it . Used to use it in hospitals for lots of things and I still use it now

good quality dressings, but unfortunately the centre part is thickened relative to the edges so this product is not suitable for cutting to size. I had to buy some extra thin duoderm from Convatec which is of constant thickness and can be cut to size as required
