Description
- Brown top millet seed produces a fast growing millet that in turn produces large quantities of seeds. These millet seeds are use in food plots for game birds that are highly attracted to the nutritious seed. This millet seed is grown in a variety of soils and climates.
- Brown top Millet is one of the few millets that can be planted and flooded for ducks OR planted in dry areas for deer, quail, dove, turkey and other wildlife. Brown top is an early producer and can supply seeds in about 60 to 70 days. Brown top Millet is an annual grass, growing from 2 up to 5 feet tall.
- Brown top is used as a wildlife food plot crop, livestock summer grazing crop, for erosion control, hay production. It makes an abundance of seed which is attractive to birds such as dove and quail.
- When planted in combinations with corn or alone and then flooded in the fall, it is one of the best food attractants for wild ducks available.Brown top Millet is generally less productive for livestock grazing and hay production than Sudangrass or Cattail Millet but is more rigidly stemmed.

I feed a LOT of wild birds daily..I've been doing this for years..I enjoy seeing the many different species of birds that come to eat the seeds...I've even had parakeets that have escaped to come and eat.
