Great books Great Author
Great books,I'm on book nine out of ten and have been hooked since book one.I have another five to complete the series, will be sad when I'm finished, just hope happy endings for all the main characters across the series.I have ordered her Stephens and Mephisto series books set in and around Brighton in 1950s so I'll have some new characters to follow.Just love Elly Griffiths all started from buying one book from a charity shop, look forward to reading more of her books.

Gripping and well-written thrillers, spiced with history and characters you'll love
I'm so enjoying this splendid collection of Ellie Griffiths Dr Ruth Galloway stories. The plots are satisfyingly complex, the characters are flawed and also lovable, relationships messy, and I particularly enjoy the fact that there's an archaeological focus to all of the stories - Ruth is a forensic archaeologist. Griffiths writes extremely well, giving each character a distinct voice and driving the plot so that you just have to keep on turning the pages! The stories are set in wild and atmospheric coastal Norfolk, and Griffiths writes so well that you can smell the salt flats and feel the damp fog on your skin. This ten volume collection is an absolute treat.

Great and Underrated crime/detective novels
Elle Griffiths introduces and writes about very believable characters. The stories themselves are enthralling enough mysteries, with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing, but on top of that you get extra details about her characters and their personal lives as to provide interesting side stories.People sometimes say it’s hard to put a book down when it’s good but in this case that’s no exaggeration.Miss at you peril!

A must read
This was a outstanding follow through series by Ellie Griffith. The connection from one novel to the next was superb with appropriate development. Though Scottish I know the area well and the mention of villages and little towns as well as the landscape and huge sky that I have experienced was so well described. The writing, the stories ,the characters are so good., well written , well thought out.I am just so sorry I read them so quickly. A very good buy.
