Both of our next door neighbours have cats and the damn things seem to prefer our garden over their own. We saw where they were coming through as we have CCTV all round the property. I installed the Cat Repellent in the ground right in front of where they like to come in, so far I have not seen them back. Think i'll keep moving it to keep them on their toes. Great product and the solar power seems to work well, no charge needed yet!

It worked fine, no cats in garden for 5 days, then it stopped working. Have sent it back and waiting for a refund.

I bought this for my neighbour as my cat kept doing it’s business in her flowerbeds! She reports that since having it, he has stayed away! One happy neighbour!

Used in conjunction with a 'Trail Camera' to see what happened. On a setting of 3, cats etc.,, the local moggies walked right past the device. One cat even went and sniffed it, probably bedcause of the ticking, which is audible. Idecided to try it on a catch all setting of 5. Turning to 5 made the LED's flash red and white permanently and the Hypersonic frequency was audible, even with (or maybe because of) my poor hearing. I turned the sensitivity down but lights continued flashing permanently. I tried it again on a setting of 3 and my own cat walked past the device, she wasn't happy and turned round to look, but was not detered in the slightest.I must assume that the device is faulty, because of the permanently on problem so shall be returning for a refund.

Bought this ultrasonic repellent as we were digging out the garden and seeding the grass and vegetables anew. On the face of it it has a lot of positive reviews, unfortunately a lot of them are "I can't see the cat so it must be working". Anyway I decided to take the plunge.... We seeded the grass and vegetables in a corner plot, just big enough to get full coverage from the device (about 4 x 7 meters big). Hours later we got invaded by an army of pidgeons and also bug eating birds of different kinds. At the start they were keeping themselves away from it, on activation they would move away. They weren't scared, just moved away. It was almost like they were trying to figure out how to get to food without activating it. Few days later - guess what - they DIDN'T CARE. Since then we were getting a swarm of birds eating out the seeds without any bother, just walking around the screaming device (on full blast, rotating frequencies + lights). Neighbour's cat is still here as well :/Also, YOU will hear the sound and some of the frequencies may give you a headache (it does to me) and I bet it annoyed the hell out of my neighbours with random activations!I guess it's a good neighbour repellent? It sure will keep them away from using their garden ;)

very powerful device, I think it will keep at a distance and an elephant especially it has additionally some LEDs ..... very useful due to the adjustment In front of the item.

Seems to be made strongly of thick plastic, the instructions are vague and don't tell you to fully charge by the usb before first use .there is a pink light that comes on in the sensor when plugged in and goes out when charged,but they don't tell you that in the instructions..! You will have to try different settings to see what works i guess. Can't really rate this properly as I only have it a few days but you can hear it click if you pass your hand accross it but have not seen the lights work. It was delivered quickly, well anyway if it doesn't work I can throw it in the direction of the cat...

Hi,It's been a while since I ordered these, but only recently got round to installing them to scare badgers away which were destroying my garden fence.I installed them hanging from screws in the fence with the back of the units flush with the fence.They worked for a while, but after a single heavy rain shower water got inside the units. The PIR sensors are now very insensitive, and the sounders don't work any more, they just make a rough clicking sound.So, I would not recommend, because after a single strong rain shower and the units no longer operate correctly.
