Fantastic! Easy to follow directions and questions are relevant to the exam. Good variety of questions and builds up difficulty.

Easy to use for self study, but not the same level as actual test
I love the format of the So-matome JLPT series, but the overall content seems way easier than the actual test content. You'll build up confidence getting 100% scores on the practice questions in this book, but fail the test. Try the Shin Kanzen Master series of JLPT prep books that are much tougher overall and better aligned with actual test difficulty.
