Dangerous - went on fire! Do not buy!
This item is dangerous. It is supplied from China and I’m pretty sure does not conform to UK spec. The wiring inside the rope does not come in a protective sheath as you can see by the images. Poor workmanship and a very poor manufacturer joint (image) caused the wire to spark and go on fire. You can see the burn marks on the rope and the cause of the fault - a taped joint repair. The wiring is stressed throughout the product.Do not buy this item

Lovely product
Brilliant product. Electrician fitted it with no problems. Looks amazing in my new kitchen. Chain links can easily be taken off if you have a low ceiling room.
