While a dictionary can be valuable as a way to understand meanings of specific words it simply cannot convey the structure and grammar of a language in the way that this book does. You probably want to pair this with the newly released Abenaki Dictionary and other references in order to round out a more complete view of the actual use of the language.

More than I hoped! Indispensable!
