Misleading description and horrible instructions.
Leaving 1 star for now because the instructions are beyond awful. The description also does not tell you that this needs to be wired into your fusebox and no info on what amp fuse this needs to replace.I will update this review if and when I actually get this installed and working.UPDATE:When hooked up, it turned on but did not charge any phones I tried. Now it won't even turn on.It fits nice in the crv and looks like built in but the tech just didn't work.

Won’t charge through the case
Setup was easy though some basic instructions on how to connect to the car fuse box correctly would be nice. While it will charge a naked phone the charger won’t work through my phone case so it’s effectively useless. It’s easier for me to connect the usb cable than to unpack my phone every time I want to charge. This will probably go back

Great charger(remember not a plug-n-play device.)
Great looking aftermarket wireless charger. If manufacturer used a toyota plug connector for the 12v socket it would make it an easier installation of product. But it is a very simple modification to do. Don't understand why people are having a hard time any basic knowledge of automotive and you can install this yourself.

Bench Tested Good - UPDATED
Just received mine and based on previous reviews was apprehensive. So I hooked it to my bench DC power supply and applied 13VDC. The blue lights come on and fade. (I guess it is suppose to do that since every time I cycled the power it would do that)I put my phone on it (Samsung 6 with Otterbox Commuter Case and it started to charge. I removed the case and still charged). It was drawing .6A when charging.I then took my 12V plug in charger I normally use and applied the same 13VDC and my phone was drawing around .51A . This is the charger I use in my car all the time.So at this point it does definitely charge your phone.I am getting ready to pick up a 2017 Toyota Rav4 XLE and I will update this post when I install it.UPDATE: I installed it today in my 2017 Rav4 XLE Was not bad. Took about 45 minutes and it does look custom. I had to remove the center console to run the wire to the fuse box. I did have to drill a 1/2" hole using a spade bit where the charging plate snaps into the existing holes from the previous plate (which snapped out easily).Since I do not have heated seats I removed one of the 10A fuses and plugged the fused adapter in that space and then I found a bolt that was in the metal frame and grounded it there. (Make sure you ground it to the metal frame, there is a lot of screws into plastic!) SO far it worked as advertised. On a side note my brother tried his iPhone 10 with case and it worked fine as well. After a month or so I will update this.
