14k White Gold Oval 6x4 mm Sapphire Bezel Lever-back Earrings

The price ($79.99) is great for 14K gold and real sapphires, but these are very strange in person. First, the stones almost look like they were put on backwards. The rear of the stone, the flat side, is the one facing outwards. This is how each stone is set too. So the largest, most faceted part of the gem is facing backwards, towards your neck and hairline. The picture is an extreme zoom... not inaccurate per se, but deceptive in the level of detail. The blue is like the picture: strong and deep but clear (meaning it's a rich deep blue that can be seen through via bright backlighting.) The stones are not cloudy, but the facets are low quality. Honestly hard to find inexpensive white gold and blue sapphire drop earrings, so if this is a need of yours these are "okay." Gold is lovely and a bright white. Comes well packaged and in a gorgeous gift box. Not worth 4 or five stars because of how the stones are set... awkward placement and risk of losing stones.
