What is unique about our own ORCHID "NUTS" mix is that we use the same special formulation of pine bark, clay aggregate and volcanic ash rock that some of the best orchid hybridizers and orchidnuts in Southern California have been using for years. Unlike the pre-packaged orchid mixes that are too "soggy" to use or have already deteriorated, our ORCHID "NUTS" mix is clean and ready to use right out of the bag. This fine grade mix can be used for orchid seedlings or Paphiopedilums. The size of the materials in the mix would range from 1/8" to 3/8".
