Nintendo 2DS Red Console with Yoshi's New Island Game

The 3D aspect of the 3DS didn't appeal to me, gave me a headache when using it. So I was happy when I heard they had released a non-3D version, but I never really got around to getting one. I finally talked myself into doing it and I couldn't be happier.I only have a few games but I don't need that many to tell this game system is perfect for me. I love that most of the games are remakes or newer versions of games I used to play as a kid.Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase it came packaged and everything works great. I would recommend to friends interested in trying one out, they're a lot funner than expected.Thanks

I bought this as a replacement for my kid's Nintendo DSI. It works with the old games, and the new 3d games. It's made with Nintendo's good quality standard, so I know it will hold up to kid's use. It's better than the Nintendo 3ds, for people who get diizzy with 3d games. The game it comes with is easy to download, although it's more suited for smaller kids. Big kids will go through it very quickly. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

It works fine but it's missing the free game download so that's a huge disappointment considering I'm not getting what I paid for!!

Review yet to come. Bought this for an upcoming Christmas gift, but have a few concerns. Package seal was broken and the Nintendo has clearly been repacked. Possibly a return, so I'm a bit concerned about its quality. Obviously will have to have one of my adult kids test it out before I give it to my 8-year-old for Christmas. Second review yet to come.

The DS is in great condition and works fine, but the download for Yoshi's Island was not included =(

This hand held unit works fantastic and I will definitely buy another one from this seller. A few things to clear the air about since people had problems with the Yoshi code. Activate your Nintendo membership first in the user manual and then redeem the Yoshi code and you will have no problems. This was a great buy and I recommend this to any one. The product was brand new in the box and works perfect. Thank you very much guys I will definitely buy another one from you soon.

I wasn't that sure whether or not I should buy the 2DS or the 3DS but after reading reviews and watching videos on both, I figured the 2DS was best for me. Aside from its pretty ugly appearance and the lack of the 3D feature, the 2DS is exactly the same as the 3DS but for half its price. Although the shape of the 2DS seems awkward when holding, it really isn't and is actually quite comfortable in my opinion (I don't have small hands btw). Its also capable of playing normal DS and 3DS games so that was pretty awesome. If you're not a big fan of the 3D feature (which I read gives you a massive headache after playing for a while) I suggest buying this!As far as the Yoshi game it comes with, I wasn't a huge fan of it. I find it rather repetitive but that might be because I'm more of a strategy game fan.

I like this because the price is right and I can give it to my niece to play without worrying about her hurting her eyes. I know some think it's ugly but I like the retro look. I have had fun with it so far, sometimes you want to play games with controls, not a touch screen. Took one star off for battery life, which could be a tad better.
