True to picture; Assembly required, but easy to do
Came in pieces, but was easy to assemble. Looks just like the pictures; the blue is very nice. The foot rest doesn’t allow it to fold back up easily, but otherwise it fit my needs for vending events. Folds up very compact. It is solid wood, but not too hard to transport.

Great director's chair that doesn't take up much space.
Got a great deal on mine and I needed a chair that could be stowed when space was needed. This fit the bill perfectly. I was concerned that the fabric seat would rise on the sides too much and feel awkward but it is taut enough where that doesn't seem to be the case. I also like that replacement canvas is available and easy to install so you can change colors as needed.I have my doubts about this as a chair that you can really lean back in and relax with as the fabric back wants to collapse some but sitting upright at a table is just fine. I have no regrets as that is what I bought it for. It is as comfortable as a director's chair could be.My only criticism would be that the foot rest screws in place and prevents you from folding the chair and putting it away. It requires you to unscrew the two screws that hold the foot rest in place to fold it. And for me the foot rest is a must have. Maybe I'll try to find some wing bolts to use instead. Also, the arm rests are just wood so one upgrade I made was to purchase some inexpensive armrest pads that fasten on with velcro. That made a big difference and is a low cost upgrade.

Nice chair.
Some assembly is required, namely sliding the edges of the fabric seat into the grooves in the frame. It took less than a minute to put together, and included instructions if you need them.It has some nice touches: Sturdy brass-ish hardware, non-marking feet to protect the floor, smooth even finish, relatively lightweight wood. The seat is 18" from the floor, and gives you a 17" wide by 13" deep sitting area. The outside dimensions of the chair are 22" wide x 16" deep x 34" tall at the highest part of the back. Armrests are about 25" off the floor, aka 7" up from the seat. When all folded up, it measures 8.5" wide by 16" deep by 26" high. The only flimsiness I've noticed is that the wooden pieces supporting the back bend inward slightly when I lean back against the backrest, which is to be expected of any director-style chair. I weigh 125lbs and it doesn't move at all when I sit down on it. I imagine, though, that the wooden bars at the base of each armrest might not be comfortable for someone who takes up more than 17" of horizontal space when sitting. The seat looks really wide because of how the chair is proportioned, but actually I have less than 1" of room either side of me when sitting in it and I'm not exactly a large person. The points which I'd expect to wear out first are the seams of the seat and back (they're sewn with unusually long stitches and little reinforcement) and the arm rests (there's a tiny gap visible where each wooden piece fits into the others and I'm not sure how well they're glued).

Very decent chair
This was a very good buy. I am 5”2 and the 24” is perfect for me to service my clients. The chair is also very sturdy and very easy to set up.

Buyer Beware!
I used this chair specifically at art festivals for a total of 8 days before the wood snapped. I reached out to the company regarding this seemingly defective break, but because the purchase date was a year and a half ago, they refused to provide any product support. The chair looks new and has hardly been used, but it is unsafe and unusable. It's frustrating when companies won't stand by their products; it seems that this is a case of a product that is built to break and be replaced. I highly recommend you look elsewhere and purchase a quality item built to last from a reputable, customer-service-forward company.

Could be better
Lacks quality, my first chair cracked and broke in a day. Replaced it and this one is holding up better. But the fabric does stretch out and sag over time. It's a chair you have to sit on very delicately. Using as a bathroom makeup chair. Perfect height for my counter.
