Yes, it’s expensive but it’s the OEM one that WORKS. The one you can actually count on. Just pay the money & know that any future outboard issues “ain’t the bulb or the gas line”. I don’t know why they’re quite this spendy either but I know the heartache of cheap ones giving up on you & absolutely ruining a day on the water. Or worse. Also, these seem to be harder & harder to find in retail stores which is unfortunate but - here they are. What’s the saying … “buy once, cry once”.

Works as it should

I wanted a well made hose and bulb assy. and this fit the bill. I initially thought longer would be better but I find that I don't need the extra length.

Will not stand summer heat and time, mine spouted a pin hole and sprayed my entire boat with fuel. Less than 1 yr old.

I looked at several different hose and bulb assemblies, and this one looked to be of much better quality and I've had one on my boat since 2006, so I bought another!

I bought this because every store I went to had that cheap Attwood crap. This is replacing a fuel hose that was still pretty good after 10 years in the sun. That lower quality crap from Attwood is only good for a couple years and is made of very poor quality materials. I don't want to gamble with my life by buying cheap parts.

Item is good quality. I have had no issues with priming using this hose. Have only had it a couple months but so far so good.
