This probably will not work for you
The product was exactly as described. The problem is with the quality of materials; in short, it broke immediately. I purchased these because we have a long gravel driveway that goes up a hill. In snow, car tires rarely make it up. I hoped that these would provide enough traction to get up the hill (about 900 feet long, moderately steep grade). First, it was harder to put them on than I expected; the wheel wells were packed with snow and it was hard to thread the straps behind the tire and through the rim. (Hint: Turn your wheels to get as much access as you can.) I did get four on and did eventually get up the hill--with my wife driving and me pushing. And three of the four I put on broke. The problem is that the wheel still spins, and the nylon strap cannot stand the shear; they tear. One of the metal ratchets broke.I am not sure if any of these work well enough to purchase again. This brand was one of the least expensive, but it did not survive one use, making it more expensive than ones that don't break. I cannot recommend this product.

Only honest dealer I found so far..
Two other dealers show three on a wheel and send you one piece per wheel - even 'customer responses' lie about the quantity. Nothing you can do with one on a wheel. These guys have the same quality devices and wound up being the cheapest by far, and the only ones with ratcheting fasteners to keep them tight on the tires. I purchased two kits at this price, about $6 per device, while others want about $15 apiece and no ratchet. Also has a carrying case and some tools to install them quickly. If you want these, don't go with anyone else - learn from my mistakes :)
