I used this 100 amp circuit breaker to install a Spartan 1000 watt inverter in the back of my 2006 Prius. The inverter came with 4 ga cables. I simply cut the red cable, carefully stripped it and put it in this circuit breaker, tightening the set screw with the included allen wrench. It made installation very easy.

So so happy I found this. I've used typical fuse holders for years. When I popped all of my fuses I went looking for a new holder and found this, thought I'd give it a try. Love it! I love being able to work or modify the system without having to disconnect the battery. Just trip the breaker! Reset it when I'm done! No resetting of the radio settings and I never have to chase down fuses again. Highly recommended.

1993 Jeep YJ 4.0I upgraded my cables to 2awg and used this instead of a fuse for the alternator. So far, I don't even notice that it is installed, which is a good thing.Update: I installed this 3-4 months ago. I came home today and car died on the freeway. I noticed that the circuit breaker had tripped and won't reset. I tried to issue a return, with 1 day left on my return window, but Amazon instead issued another one to be sent to me. Um, no thanks, I will buy something else.I would not recommend this product.

I am using this on a portable solar setup so I wouldn't have to buy fuses if they blew. Very handy, just reset after figuring out the problem. The first one wouldn't reset when tripped, but he they resent another one quickly. Would buy again.

I needed the breaker to shut of my car aftermarket audio AMP off for car storage. This worked perfectly and replaced a standart 60 AMP inline fuse. This was installed into 2017 SS Camaro and with the breaker off it should have done nothing but keep the AMP off. Well it not only shut the AMP off but affected the electrical system of the car. My power windows did not function properly along with a few other weird things. I am baffled on how this breaker effected other system. It is directly attached to one of the battery positive post.

Clean install options. Great for those who don't want to possibly replace fuses. Using 10 gauge wiring into it and out of it. Mounted it near the battery for now, but will probably move it near the amplifier in back. Turns out there may be a problem having it near the engine as it does get hot and a few rare times the amp cut out, like the fuse breaker couldn't concisely trip. Hasn't been an issue since.

Bought this for the solar system I installed on my shed going from the solar panel to the controller. I like having a built in breaker to keep the system safe.

Great breaker! Feels sturdy, trips right above 50A sustained. The twisting cable glands are nice but I had to put a couple layers of electrical tape on the wire's insulation to get a good seal on 6awg conductors.

Fast shipping. Seems to be well made. Have not installed it in my boat yet, will update review later on.
