Piece of Cake: Easy Crossword Puzzle Book: Over 350 Crosswords (Brain Busters Puzzle Collection)

I love doing crosswords, with some easy listening music playing in the background. It’s my sanity and it’s how I unwind. After battling through some incredibly difficult NY Times puzzles that left me more stressed than relaxed, I needed something easier that I could finish in one sitting. I adore this puzzle book! It’s just the right amount of a challenge, without making me feel like I know nothing at all. Those harder puzzles make me nuts and I end up skipping around and never finish one puzzle. I can do two or three of these and I almost have to pull myself away from it because it’s so addictive!I like feeling like I accomplished something and this is the perfect puzzle book for that! I like that they use long words and short words too. It really is a perfect mix of clues, subjects, and it’s highly enjoyable. This would also make a great gift idea too! 5 stars all the way. The spiral bound book offers tons of puzzles and is a great size to plop in your lap, or in your bag. Get it! You’ll be glad you did.

I like the binding, makes it easy to do each page. With regular bound paperbacks I cut them apart and use a clipboard. Also these erase well (I use erasable pens) many books smudge when one has to erase an incorrect word. These pages are sturdier than the newsprint type most paperbacks use. Also there are many duplicate clues but I guess I don’t mind that too much. Enjoy!!!

I enjoyed these and they are easy but perhaps a little too easy and a lot of the same words in various puzzles.

It has a lot of puzzles in it. One thing about this is a lot of repeat clues. The writers definitely like the actor Alan Alda, feels like each puzzle has his name. I don't mind the repeats as some of them really help solve it. I have never done crossword puzzles except the ones the teachers gave out in elementary school. It is easy but a good bit of it does make you think. If you are new to crossword puzzles this is a good book to start in.

This book is almost to easy but I find it most enjoyable... I am on Oxygen 24/7 and I work them when I take my breathing meds ,Sometimes I time how long it takes and its not much but I just love love how they entertain me ,,, A must for the truly bored at home folks ,Peace Out with Love

I’m a beginner and these are easy so it was fun at first. After doing about 30 I got super bored because so many of the answers repeat. I skipped to 200 and still the same issue. I’m to the point I can fill one of these out in 5 minutes because I know the answers from previous puzzles. I am done messing with this one and ordered a new crossword book.

I work crossword puzzles with varying degrees of difficulty. These puzzles still require thought but you don't have to cheat just to finish them ;-). Many puzzle books that I have will often get you to a point where you just can't finish 2 or 3 clues and need to look up the answer.. These are just plain fun but challenging enough to feel satisfaction at completion. I also love the ring binding, it makes it so easy to have just one puzzle only to look at and work, without fighting the bindings that most puzzle books have.

I've never done crosswords. I've avoided them in fact. Now I've done over 200 in this book. They're easy and may not challenge a seasoned crossworder and many clues repeat throughout the book. As a novice I really enjoy this book. Now I'm looking for Easy 2.0
