Polaroid SX 70 Belederung SLR for SX70 680 Leather Skin Polaroid SX-70 Black

Recently purchase this replacement skin for one of my beloved polaroid sx70 cameras. I suspect each of the 5 pieces have been laser cut, as they are incredibly accurate. I previously tried to cut my own using a template I downloaded, but with all the care using a scalpel and sharp scissors, I couldn't get it right. This kit comes with each piece having what appears heavy duty double sided tape attached to the leather. It also comes with comprehensive instructions in German, though easily translated. So now I am ready to tackle this task, the first being the most difficult, removing old leather. Then removing old glue residue. I initially thought after watching a you tube video nail varnish remover would do the job, but avoid at all costs, it will eat into the camera. It is very important to remove all old glue, otherwise new leather skins wont adhere properly, and there will be lumps under the new leather. I unfortunately i haven't found the right solution to desolve old glue.
