Boco Clip On Tea Infuser Brewer For Office w/Drip Catcher. Sip While Brewing Too! (KLiP - Green)

I thought these might make great gifts, so I ordered one to try out. The one I received worked brilliantly the fist time I used it. I enjoyed two cups of tea, hand washed it, and left it out to dry. Later I put it back together to show my husband our cool new tea infuser. When I opened it to make tea again, the black ring separated from the basket instead of from the lid. Epoxy failure. So I contacted Boco through their website and told them what happened. They responded promptly and courteously, assured me that the problem I had was very rare, and sent me a replacement right away. I am very happy with the new one. I've used it every day since I got it, about three weeks ago. The holes are really tiny, so almost no loose tea escapes into my cup, even Rooibos which has skinny needle-like leaves. An oval teaspoon fits right in, so its easy to load without getting leaves all over the counter-top. There is plenty of room in the basket for the leaves to expand, and it cleans up quick and easy. Overall I am very pleased. I will see how it holds up with heavy use. I plan to gift some of these to tea lovers as birthdays roll around.

I wanted to like this, I really did. It clips well on to the side of every mug I own, even the thick pottery ones. But I wanted to be able to pour the water over the tea leaves as it was clipped on to the mug so as to be able to get the full flavor of the tea. But the lid is attached to the clip parts and there really just isn't any way to steep the tea except to pour the water around them and hope it steeps appropriately.

That something like this has only been invented and marketed now amazes me ... the KLiP is vastly superior to any preceding infuser or tea ball for a number of reasons. It is incredibly (incredibly incredibly) simple to use and (equally as important) easy to clean. Its design is stylish and customizable and it (in my opinion) does a better job of infusing flavor without any of the hassle involved with screwing on lids (and unscrewing them) and haranguing about than most tea balls I have owned and used. I have enjoyed loose leaf teas for years, and the KLiP only adds to the experience. If you enjoy the unparalleled flavor of loose leaf, but want to avoid some of the more annoying quirks associated with tea balls and infusers, I recommend (highly recommend) that you try the KLiP. That it is less expensive than many other infusers only adds to its awesomeness!

Does not allow for much expansion of the tea, cup must be really full of hot water for it to steep correctly. Overall design could be much better. I do like that it is a finer mesh, keeping the loose tea inside as opposed to floating in my cup.

Great little device for tea at work, or any place you don't have a saucer. One less mess that you can make on your desk. You can use it with loose tea or with a tea bag. Just don't let the tea bag dry in it, or you will have to work to get it cleaned out. I bought two. One for me and the other will be a stocking stuffer.

This is my second Klip, I wanted another for company. I use mine more for fresh coffee. It brews up a fine single cup of joe, without having to use a French press. It's perfect for my travel lifestyle, where I can make a real cup of coffee, without dealing with what comes with getting one. Hot water, a few min, and I'm off to the races. A solid idea in a nifty package!

I drink a few cups of tea every day, and this little clip is great. Hooks easily to smaller and larger mugs that I have, and I don't think that the steeping takes any longer than it would with the tea bag floating around in the cup. I use tea bags instead of loose tea. Great little addition to our tea accessory collection! Five stars!

I recommend this clip-on tea infuser to anyone. Before i ordered, i read the reviews, some people were complaining that it's difficult to clean it. NOT TRUE in my opinion. Easy to use, easy to clean.
